News of a potentially UK record Smoothhound has been doing the rounds. Tristen Cade has in fact landed a 19lb 6oz beast which initially was thought to have taken the UK shore record. However Tristen received a call informing him that the UK record was now over 20lb and that the records had not been updated to reflect this. Its a real shame for the island angler but it is a new Island record which is something to be really proud of. Well done Tristen!
