Undulate Record Breaker

User Rating: / 0
PoorBest

Forum Member Ryde.Angler had the catch of a lifetime on his first ever boat fishing trip. Taking this massive undulate ray of 23.8lb which batters the old I.O.W and UK record, unfortunately this could not be verified for the British record because it was returned, being an endangered species.

The tale is continued from the very happy angler.

I have been working as crew on Fishing Charters for sometime now so i thought it was time i had a go.....Went to Mid Shingles Targeting my first ever skate, 5 dogs and 2 Jumbo pout in the first hour and then.....thisĀ

Happy Days, Was chuffed to bits. Im still not converted from shore fishing to boat fishing but i think it gives you a
the chance of a bigger fish than what you might catch on the shore?

I'm just pleased to have caught it, I have spoken to the British Record people and they are looking into it which looks a little promising. 26" wide, 46" long and 3" thick, Chuffed to bits regardless and yes fish of a lifetime!
